The Laguna Nimez is a protected wetland area located in the town of El Calafate, near the famous Lago Argentino in Argentina. The reserve is home to a wide variety of bird species, including flamingos, swans, and ducks, as well as mammals such as guanacos and foxes.

The reserve is open daily from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, and admission is ARS 350 (approximately USD 4.50) per person. Visitors can take guided tours of the reserve, which are available in English and Spanish, and last approximately one hour.

In the surrounding area, visitors can also explore the stunning scenery of the Lago Argentino, including the Perito Moreno Glacier, which is located just a short drive from the reserve. The glacier is open to visitors year-round, and tours are available daily from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
